Chop Chop Inc. Map & Areas — Every Known Location & Secret
✔ Last checked: 2026-08-12
No official world map exists — but the gazetteer got substantially longer at launch, and one entry is confirmed by the funniest possible evidence. The developers patched the contents of their own secret dev room in hotfix #4, which is how we know for certain it’s in there.
✅ Updated for the release build. New confirmed entries: the windmill, the pink-leaf stone island, the secret dev room. Still no published map.

The secret dev room
Our favourite confirmation of the week. The route is the payoff of the stone tree chain: get the stone axe, go to the tunnel near the entrance, hit the door. It opens into the developers’ own room and grants the achievement “You found our secret base.”
We know it’s real not because a guide says so, but because hotfix #4’s patch notes list changes to its contents — a faulty QR code removed, the book club avatar updated, and community members’ names added to a whiteboard. Developers do not patch rooms that don’t exist. At least one guide also reports ducks stashed inside, which we’d believe.
Collectible lines beyond ducks
The released game has more than one thing to hunt:
- Furnox spies — described as lore collectibles, rare, and thematically pointed given who fired you.
- Treasure chests — scattered loot, some apparently tied to a treasure map. Note that a “won’t let me dig” bug is an open launch-week thread, so if your shovel refuses, it may not be you. See Errors & fixes.
- Ducks ×7 — the main event.
Is there an in-game map screen?
Still unverified. The launch build’s redesigned UI improved mission, stats, resource and progression clarity per official notes — a map screen is never mentioned. Players continue to navigate by landmarks, and “where is the mineshaft” is a live question rather than a solved one. Given the recipe list ships without search or sort, we would not assume generous navigation aids.
Exploration culture
The defining community fact survived launch intact: these players do not respect intended paths. The devs celebrated a playtester escaping the map with an in-game memorial, and reviewers now cite exploration as one of the game’s genuine strengths. Five days in, the secret hunting is exactly the glorious chaos we predicted.

FAQ
Where is the secret base in Chop Chop Inc.?
Behind a hidden door in the tunnel near the entrance. You need the stone axe to break it open, which unlocks the 'You found our secret base' achievement. It is the developers' own dev room, and they patched its contents in hotfix #4.
How do I reach the stone tree island?
Repair the windmill to get the water-walking clogs, then simply walk across the water to the island with pink leaves. No boat, no bridge — footwear.
Does the game have an in-game map screen?
Still not something we can confirm. The launch build's redesigned UI improved mission and resource clarity per official notes, but no official mention of a map screen exists and players still navigate by landmarks.
What secrets are there besides ducks?
The secret dev room, treasure chests (some tied to a treasure map), Furnox spies as lore collectibles, a mineshaft players report struggling to find, and a stone tree cave with a hollow mushroom.
